For some reason I love Nikki’s comment about readings:
“We do, and it is a struggle to get attendance on some of them. I have taken to promoting author appearances as “programs” instead of “readings” because it makes the event seem more unique.”
Strangely I would not be surprised to hear that did increase attendance. Sometimes people just have notions about event names that one can’t fathom.
