Tomorrow’s activities

I have two activities for this weekend on the opposite ends of the spectrum. Tomorrow I plan on attending the aforementioned 28th Annual Antiquarian Book Fair in Boston. And after that I am going to the New England Motorcycle Expo. And, no, Mr. Bookdwarf is not responsible for the second activity. Well, he found out about but yours truly likes the bikes and plans on having one of her own someday. When she is fabulously wealthy by which I mean some place with a garage to store said bike. I’ll tell you about these fun things on Monday most likely.

I envy you the first activity. It makes me start hoping for another book by the Goldstones about Book Collecting -they always seem to have one bit about an Antiquarian Fair. I see John LeBow will be there as a presenter. I bought a book from him via email – a limited edition Steve Yarbrough short story. Introduction by John Dufresne, little charcoal drawing by Yarbrough’s wife Eva. All three of them signed it. Just a really lovely book. Amazing what they can do with a small hand-typeset printing press. Wander by his/their booth and see what’s new, and just admire the craftsmanship.

    Enjoy,
